Community Resources

Century College’s Community Tabling Space is designated for individuals to utilize to peacefully express that which is protected under the First Amendment of the Constitution. While Century cannot regulate the content of expression, the College reserves the right to regulate the time, place, and manner.

Locations

West Campus
Inside: W1210 (the Nest), the Main Commons
Outside: Sidewalks outside of the Main Commons, Student Center, Theater and Gymnasium entrances
Time: Building hours

East Campus
Inside: Outside the cafeteria, Bruening Room Entrance
Outside: Sidewalks outside of the Bruening Room, Lincoln Mall, and Library entrances
Time: Building hours

Manner

When utilizing the Community Tabling Space areas at Century College the following regulations apply:

• You must stay within 5 feet of your table or 25 yards from the building when advocating for your cause
• You must display a sign stating, “This table is not associated with Century College.” This sign must be in a visible location. Click here for a potential sign.
• You cannot impede anyone’s ability to get to their destination. This includes blocking doors and hallways.
• Vendors are responsible for following any other applicable College policy.

Duration

You may utilize the Community Tabling Space if timing is congruent with College hours of operations.
