In 2022, Century College continued our work toward completing our Strategic Plan 2020-2025. Our accomplishments were significant and impactful as we maintained our commitment to our mission and collective values. Throughout our 2022 Annual Report, you will learn about our work to help our students succeed through the expansion of student support services and financial support and educating and training our students by providing advanced equipment and learning environments, all while nurturing an institutional culture that supports the whole person and respects diversity and inclusion.

Century College is great – we can be better in 2023!

Looking forward, our vision is focused on being even better in 2023. We are creating better teaching and learning experiences, producing more industry-ready graduates to fuel the workforce, and building stronger communities. We are providing more financial support to students, developing and expanding programs to respond to workforce demands, scaling instructional delivery to meet the needs of students, and modernizing learning and activity spaces to grow collaborations and partnerships. We thank you for your support of Century College. Collectively, we are proud of our achievements this past year and continue to look forward to a better future.

Team Century began 2021 with anticipated hope and determination. We further knew that we could turn our challenges into opportunities by working together with one mission, one focus,
and one vision to achieve our mission and explore new possibilities.

Throughout our 2021 Annual Report, you will witness outstanding work centered on strategic initiatives designed with our students at the center and within a culture that reflects our collective values. We opened new, innovative campus spaces that enhance student learning, support new collaborations between academic areas, and advance partnerships with business, industry, and four-year universities. We have reimagined our workplace that values employees and created an organizational model that provides expanded, innovative services and support to our students.

We are not slowing down in 2022 – no matter the challenges!

Our opportunities are far greater than our challenges and we are dedicated to accomplishing our strategic plan goals and committed to maintaining an institutional climate that supports the whole person while respecting diversity, equality, and shared values. We take pride in our work together as a college community of students, employees, and partners.

When we began the year 2020, we could not have imagined what the year had in store. A global pandemic combined with political and civil unrest disrupted how we all work and live. Its impact on higher education has been profound as well, shifting our teaching and learning models overnight.

It is in difficult times, however, that we discover our resilience. The trials of 2020 offered the opportunity to reflect upon and examine our challenges, learn from them, and turn them into strengths. In the end, we are emerging a stronger, more capable higher education institution, more prepared than ever before to meet the evolving demands of our world.

The intent of our 2020 Annual Report is to provide an overview of our many highlights and accomplishments during this extraordinary year, but also, to shine a light upon the collective spirit of a College community that persevered in order to have a positive and lasting impact on the students whom we have the honor to serve.

As we move forward, we do so with anticipated hope that brighter days are ahead, and with the knowledge that there is nothing that we cannot overcome together.
