Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

Century College is a campus that is intentional about fostering an environment that is safe and welcoming to all. Whether you are a student, family or friend of a student, employee or just visiting us, we want to make sure that we are serving you in an equitable fashion.

Not only are we vocal about our stance on equity and diversity at Century College, we believe in being action-oriented as well. Our Equity and Diversity Plan focuses on five key areas that will allow us, as a college, to purposefully serve, support and embrace our ever growing diverse campus community:

During these virtual panel discussions, participants will hear from staff, faculty, system administrators, students and alumni about their lived experiences and how systemic racial inequalities may have impacted their lives and their experiences here at Century College. The learning from this dialogue will add to our knowledge base and give thoughtful introspection to awaken our curiosity to learn more, while defining what it means to be socially conscious.

Our panelists will provide insights on topics such as:

• How to engage in courageous conversations
• How to create an inclusive campus that will foster academic and student success
• How to be an advocate and create a welcoming space for students of color
