High School Graduates of 2022, please log into your eServices account and update your email address. Click on Account Management and then Demographic Info. Any accounts associated with a high school email address will not be accessible once you graduate.

What type of student are you?

First-Time Student

You have never attended another college and wish to complete a degree/program at Century. All graduating high school students are considered First-Time Students.

Apply for admission. Click here to apply. Applications are due prior to each semester’s application deadline.
Submit official high school transcript (or GED certificate). High school transcripts should be submitted confirming high school graduation. If you are currently attending high school, you should submit an official high school transcript following graduation. High school transcripts should be submitted to the Admissions Office.
Notification of admission status. Once the application is complete and processed, you will receive an email from Century College regarding your admission status.

Transfer Student

You are currently enrolled at another college or university (or have gained college credit in other ways) and wish to complete a degree/program at Century College.

Submit official high school transcript or GED certificate. High school transcripts should be submitted confirming high school graduation. If you are currently attending high school, you should submit official high school transcripts following graduation. High school transcripts should be submitted to the Admissions Office.
Submit official college transcripts from each college you have attended. Official college transcripts should be sent to the Transfer Student Services Office. There are multiple things to consider depending on whether you are transferring from another Minnesota State institution, have completed military service, and more - read the transcript submission information carefully.
Notification of admission status. Once the application is complete and processed, you will receive an email from Century College regarding your admission status.

Previous college coursework and/or valid ACT, SAT or MCA scores may waive you from a course placement test. If submitting ACT or SAT scores, please send them via email, fax, mail or hand-delivered to the Testing Center. MCA scores need to be sent directly from the high school. See the ACT, SAT, and Other Test Scores section below for requirements.
Complete Orientation. Orientation is mandatory for all incoming students and enables you to register for classes as well as navigate the college and its resources with success. Orientation information will be sent via email to the email listed on your application.

Non-Degree Seeking or Visiting Student

You plan to take a course or two. You are not seeking a certificate, diploma, degree or financial aid from Century College.

If you have been admitted or enrolled at another Minnesota State college or university and you are not planning to complete a degree, diploma or certificate or seek financial aid from Century College, you should not apply to Century College.

How to Get Started

Log-in to eServices using your account at your current (home) Minnesota State institution.
Select Century College from the drop down for College/University.
Register for your Century course using your Star ID and password.
If you are unable to register or receive a prerequisite error message, you will need to submit a Verification of Course Pre-Requisite Met at Another Institution form. Please allow 2-3 business days for verification and processing.

If you are currently attending, or have attended in the past, another college or university (such as University of St. Thomas, University of Minnesota, or other in or out of state university or college), you will need to apply to Century College.

Apply for admission.
Apply online here. When asked for your educational intent, select “complete courses and transfer without a degree”. Applications are due prior to each semester’s application deadline. A one-time, non-refundable $20 application fee is required. The application fee can be paid online at the end of the online application or in-person by visiting the Business Office (W2340).
Submit your unofficial transcript(s) from your college/university.
Submit a Verification of Course Pre-Requisite Met at Another Institution form. Please allow 2-3 business days for verification and processing.
Register for your Century course in eServices. Click here for a step-by-step registration guide.

After you complete the course, request a Century College transcript to be sent to your college/university.

Returning Student

You want to return to Century College, and it’s been more than one semester since you last attended.

Apply for re-admission. Click here to apply. Applications are due prior to each semester’s application deadline.
Notification of admission status. Once the application is complete and processed, you will receive an email from Century College regarding your admission status.

Consider meeting with an academic advisor or counselor to discuss Academic Renewal/Fresh Start options. Academic Renewal allows students a one-time opportunity to establish a new Grade Point Average (GPA) at Century College.

Depending on prior coursework that was taken at Century College, and the length of time that you haven’t been in college, you may be required to retake a placement test. Learn more by visiting Testing Center.
Complete New Student Orientation. Orientation information will be sent to the email listed on your application. New Student Orientation is designed to re-introduce you to the campus and the many services provided for all students.

International Student

You are a resident of a nation other than the United States and wish to complete a degree/program at Century College.

High School Options

You are a Minnesota high school student who wants to take college-level courses prior to graduating high school.

Post-Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) offers high school sophomores, juniors and seniors in public, non-public, or home schools the opportunity to take college courses at eligible post-secondary institutions. You can earn high school credit, and then following high school graduation, transfer your completed PSEO coursework as college credits.

The supplemental enrollment process is for high school sophomores, juniors and seniors who are interested in registering for courses at Century College but are either ineligible for the PSEO program or are interested in taking summer courses.

Supplemental enrollment is not an open-enrollment program. Students must meet minimum criteria in order to be eligible and courses are offered on a space-available basis only.

Articulated college credit courses are career and technical education college courses students can take while still attending high school. These courses are an early credit strategy designed to support student transitions from secondary to post-secondary programs and direct entry into the workforce. Century in the High School, a concurrent enrollment program, offers high school students the opportunity to earn college credit while taking courses in their high school. High School teachers apply to teach the college courses at the high school. If Century College approves the teacher application, high school students can enroll in these courses at their high school and receive college credit from Century. Important Application Information

Although not required for admission, students may submit test results for possible waivers from placement testing.

ACT requirements: 21 or higher in Reading and 22 or higher in Math. ACT Reading scores will be used to determine placement for both Reading and English.
SAT requirements: 480 or higher in Reading and 530 or higher in Math. SAT Reading scores will be used to determine placement for both Reading and English.
MCA requirements: 1047 or higher in Reading and 1148 or higher in Math. MCA Reading scores will be used to determine placement for Reading only.

If submitting ACT or SAT scores, please send them via email, fax, mail or hand-delivered to the Testing Center. MCA scores need to be sent directly from the high school.

A one-time, non-refundable $20 application fee is required. The application fee can be paid online at the end of the online application or in-person by visiting the Business Office (W2340).

If applicants are looking to have the $20 application fee waived, we offer several options.

12th grade high school applicants:
Are you receiving free or reduced hot lunch in 12th grade? Century College accepts the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) application fee waiver form. We require the form be completed and signed by your high school counselor. It can then be emailed to admissions@century.edu.

Transfer Students:
Transfer students who are eligible for the Federal Pell Grant or other criteria for economic need at your current college may use the NACAC Request for Transfer Admission Application Fee Waiver Form to request a waiver to the application fee at Century College. Please have your financial aid office provide necessary documentation and sign the form. The completed form can be emailed to admissions@century.edu.

US Military Veterans:
If you have or are serving in any branch of the United States Military, we will waive your application fee. When completing the application, use the promo code VETS to waive the $20 application fee. Please be sure to check “YES” on the application when asked if you were a member of the armed forces. For more information, visit the Veterans Services website.

First Time Applicants to Century College attend a recruitment event:
Receive a promo code to waive the application fee for first time applicants who attend an Admissions event such as the Discover Century Information Session, Open House or other Admissions recruitment event. See calendar for details.
