Each year, nearly 1,000 students apply for a Century College Foundation scholarship. While we awarded over 200 scholarships last year, many students are left empty-handed. With your support, we can ensure more students have the help they need to succeed.
The Continuing Education and Customized Training department can help you to get ahead in your career by offering a variety of non-credit workforce training and development opportunities. Through customized training options, Century College can work directly with employers to meet the training needs of employees.
Century College offers a variety of campus life opportunities to connect with others, gain leadership experience, be involved and have fun. Students can participate or cheer on the Century College Wood Ducks Athletic programs, become active members and leaders on campus or take advantage of campus recreational activities and art and theatre experiences.

Nora Slawik joined the Century College Foundation as Executive Director in June of 2020. She oversees development, alumni, private foundation grants and scholarship programs for the college. She has the privilege of working with a dedicated board of directors, staff and campus leadership. She is involved in many aspects of external relations in the community - building business and industry partnerships. Nora has a BS from Arizona State University in recreation administration with an emphasis on nonprofit management and a MPA from the Humphrey School, University of Minnesota.
Nora leverages her extensive relationship and institutional experience as an east metro seven term legislator, twice elected mayor of Maplewood and appointee of Governor Walz as the Chair of the Metropolitan Council. Her fundraising background includes working as a Development Officer for the University of Arizona, a campaign manager for the United Way and in events and corporate relations for the Boy Scouts. Nora’s son attended Century College. She values the excellent faculty and strong core classes he completed to transfer to Augsburg College where he finished his degree to become a successful special education teacher.
She spends her free time with her husband and adult children boating and fishing up north, walking around the lakes and biking.
Adam Haglin joined the Century College Foundation as Development Officer in September of 2021. He brings over 20 years of fundraising experience and will be responsible for leadership and sustained growth for both annual and major giving for the foundation. He is committed to the college and building relationships that strengthen the foundation.
Adam’s fundraising background includes working as Donor Relations Coordinator for the Hennepin Health Foundation, Development Director at Minnesota Youth Symphonies, Major Gifts Officer for Children’s Home Society & Family Services, and as an Exploring and District Executive for the Boy Scouts of America.
