About the Program
Computer Information Systems AS Degree
This degree starts the student on the path to becoming an information system professional. Coursework is designed to develop your analytical and problem-solving skills, in conjunction with gaining broad-based, applied hands-on programming experience and proficiency. This program has also been designed to prepare students to transfer to a variety of information systems-related degrees at area colleges and universities.
Specific transfer plans, with the college of choice, should be made as early in the degree as possible to ensure an appropriate program is planned for enrollment at Century and at the four-year school.
