Geography

• Physical geography - the study of our dynamic planet, and it’s global systems of air, water, land, and life.
• Human geography - the study of human groups and how they adapt to and modify their environments, and how the world is organized culturally, politically, and economically.
• Technical geography - involves the use of advanced tools such as remote sensing, Global Positioning Systems (GPS), and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to study the earth and solve problems.

Century’s courses incorporate lectures and discussion, theory with real-world exercises and examples, and content and skill learning. Because our world is so dynamic and ever-changing, we strive to keep our geography curriculum timely, pertinent, and diverse. We create classroom environments that offer a variety of interactive activities and methods conducive to student interest and significant learning.
