AANAPISI

Century College was recognized as an Asian American Native American Pacific Islander Serving Institution by the United States Department of Education and received a grant from October 2022 through September 2028. The grant provides academic and student support to all new and current Asian Pacific Islander (API) students within the Business, Human Services, and Health Science Pathways.

Mission

The mission of the AANAPISI program is to increase admission, retention, and graduation rates of students who is seeking Business, Human Services & Health Science pathways.

The AANAPISI project provides a wraparound service, which will support you throughout your time at Century College. The AANAPISI Advisor team will assist you with the following service and more:

Academic advising & Academic planning
Course Registration
Financial Literacy/Financial Aid Support
Scholarship Help
Academic petitions and concerns

AANAPISI Scholarship Workshop
Digital Stories Series (We will be providing links to all the editions of the series)
Financial Literacy
Health Science Careers Workshop
Mental Health Workshops & Training
Resume Building

To qualify for the AANAPISI program, you must meet the following federal eligibility criteria:

Be enrolled in a Business, Human Services, and/or Health Science program at Century
Be a US citizen or have permanent resident status
Identify as an Asian and/or Asian Pacific Islander

And must meet at least one of the following:

Low income (Receive a Pell Grant)
Be a first-generation college student
