2. Login with your StarID and StarID password.
3. Choose where you want to pick up your device.
4. Select Student.
5. Choose your device to start making a reservation

All enrolled students have access to Office 365! 

Your access to Office 365 includes

• your Century student email
• 1 TB of free cloud storage for easy file management
• the Office suite (Word, Powerpoint, Excel) available for download on up to five personal devices

Download and Install Office 365 on your Personal Computer

You can also easily access your free cloud storage from MyCentury:

1. Click Login at the top right corner of the Century website. Select MyCentury and enter StarID@go.minnstate.edu and StarID password if prompted.
2. Click the blue Office 365 tile.
3. Click the multiple dots in the top right corner. Select OneDrive from the list.

You can now start uploading and storing files in OneDrive, which will let you access your files from any device with an internet connection and collaborate on files with classmates.

Students enrolled at MinnState colleges and universities have access to Zoom webconferencing. If you are taking an online synchronous, hybrid, or multimodal/HyFlex class, you may likely be joining your instructor’s Zoom meetings by clicking a link they provide, but you can also login to your own Zoom account and create meetings!

Join Zoom Meetings from Any Device

Computer

1. Your instructor will have provided the Zoom link to you, either through email or D2L. Click the link to join.
   
   
2. When prompted click Open Zoom Meetings, or if you are using a Mac, Allow. This will allow the Zoom client to autodownload.
   
   
3. Enter your name, when prompted.
   
   
4. Then, click Join with Computer Audio.

Mobile Device (Smartphone or Tablet)

1. Download the Zoom app from the Google Play or App store.
   
   
2. Locate your instructor’s Zoom link in their D2L course or email.
   
   
3. Tap the Zoom link to open it. The Zoom app will open automatically. Enter a name if prompted. 
   
   
4.  Tap Call via Device Audio.

Mediaspace is MinnState’s video streaming and recording platform. Your instructors may post links to videos in Mediaspace in your D2L course, or sometimes you may need to post your own videos in Mediaspace for assignments or discussions.

If your instructor requires you to use Mediaspace to create or post your own videos, use the instructions below to get started.

Access and Record with Mediaspace

1. Login to MyCentury with StarID@go.minnstate.edu and StarID password.
2. Move your mouse over Students.
3. Select Mediaspace
4. Click StarID.
5. Enter your StarID and StarID password when prompted.

Your My Media page will load.

A great, easy option for recording videos with Mediaspace on any laptop or Chromebook is the Express Capture option, which will allow you to record video, audio, and screen in Mediaspace without having to download anything.

1. After logging in, click Add New at the top.
2. Select Express Capture.
3. Express Capture will load. Press the bright red button to record when ready.
4. Press the grey square to stop when done.
5. Click Use This if satisfied.

LinkedIn Learning, formerly Lynda.com, is a platform that gives you access to self-guided courses and videos on multiple subjects, including public speaking, AutoDesk, and Microsoft Office. You can also connect your LinkedIn account and display completed courses and certificates on your profile!

Login to LinkedIn Learning

1. Navigate to MyCentury.
2. Click the LinkedIn Learning tile on the MyCentury homepage.
3. Sign in with your StarID@go.minnstate.edu and StarID password. Authenticate when prompted.
4. Choose three fields of interest.
5. Choose an optional goal. 
6. You will be then be prompted to sign in to connect your LinkedIn account.
