• Start menu : When you click the Start menu, you’ll see Pinned Apps and Recommended. You can always get to all your apps by clicking All Apps. Click your name in the Start menu to access the Lock and Sign Out options. Click the power button to access Shut down and Restart options. 
• File Explorer : File Explorer will have a more streamlined look with more options and updated icons, both on the top navigation bar and on the left side panel. At the top left pane, you’ll also see a new option labelled Home. 
• Screen management and customization : You can customize how your windows are set up on your screen by moving your mouse over the the maximize option in the top left of an open window and use the templates available to arrange open windows the way you want.

You can access all these options and more from the Start menu!

1. Click the Windows icon in the bottom left corner to open the Start menu.
2. The Start menu will open. Press your name in the bottom left to access these options:
   • Lock
   • Sign out
   • Switch User
3. Press the Power button in the bottom right of the Start menu to access these options:
   • Sleep 
   • Shut down
   • Restart
